Sonora Grill Prime - Monterrey - Austin

The food was just OK. For the price you are going to pay it is not worth it. The French Onion soup was very good, but don’t go to a Sonora Prime type of restaurant for the soup, you go for the steaks, and the meat was neither tender nor flavored. Pretty disappointed. I will stick to Mochomos which is just next door.

The only thing I didn't like was that the restaurant was too warm.

The food was excellent and the service was very good!! What I didn't like was that the temperature in the restaurant was hot, I was sweating and on three occasions I mentioned it to the waiters and they agreed with me, they had the ceiling fans on but I think the air conditioning had a problem.

It's hard to believe that the two dishes we wanted to order coincidentally were not available. It's the first time I've experienced basic dishes like chicken or barbecue not being available on a seemingly calm day at the restaurant.

It was a brilliant dinner with my partner for her and my anniversary. It was a beautiful night and the food was absolutely amazing.
