Sonic Drive-in - Austin

Edit: After finally receiving the shake, it was far from a proper dessert. It was more like a melted mess, not even cold, and absolutely disgusting. I didn’t even bother asking for a refund; dealing with them would just lead to more frustration. I left the inedible shake—which was nearly as warm as the Texas summer air—at the door for them.

The food was delivered promptly and was still piping hot. My burger was prepared exactly as I requested, and the cheese fries were absolutely outstanding!

I highly advise against visiting this restaurant. I placed an online order and found myself waiting for about 20-30 minutes while the screen indicated that my order was being prepared. When I inquired about the delay, a staff member assured me that it would be ready soon. After waiting another 15 minutes, the manager informed me that my order had mistakenly been given to another car. This was the worst experience I've ever had. To make matters worse, my sister went there last night and discovered there were no employees available over an hour before closing time, yet they were still accepting online orders. What a disappointing situation!

I was really craving a slush (saw the not so good reviews) but decided to go anyway... I ordered my slush and it came out super fast but i didn't get a chance to put my card into the machine so the girl who brought me my drink looked annoyed. She had to type her code in or something and the screen wasn't working so she was practically banging on the order window thing. LOL and i'm just sitting here then she put her hand out to take my card without saying anything. This place is terrible. Every time here it takes 20 minutes to get your order, even only 3 drinks. 90% of the time the order is wrong. And how will you sincerely look at these lemons and think, oh yes, they are fresh. They are stoned!!! Food: 1/5
