Oakwood Bbq Beer Garden - Austin

You guys, this place is a hidden gem on Breaker! The food was fantastic; I had the honey Buffalo chicken sandwich, which reminded me of the delicious Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits (if you know, you know!). My husband tried the brisket melt and said it was "awesome." They have a HUGE backyard patio with games like Connect Four, cornhole, darts, and even an outdoor stage for live music. It really gives off those Shady Grove vibes (RIP). This spot is definitely going to be the go-to hangout for friends!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered 2 pounds of ribs, 1 pound of brisket, along with mac and cheese and potato salad. The food was flavorful and tender. However, about 45 minutes later, my brother, his girlfriend, and I all found ourselves rushing to the bathroom. It was a really unpleasant experience, as we dealt with stomach cramps and diarrhea for about 2 to 3 hours, leaving us feeling bloated and nauseous. I felt it was important to share my experience.

Can't speak to the BBQ, but the crawfish is super dope. Weekend band is great, good ol fashion blues. Loved itFood: 5/5

Amazing barbecue, and a very cool vibe! Audrey was our server, and she was amazing. We had a great evening dining outside. Highly recommend the brisket, pulled pork, and spicy sauce!

Came here this afternoon and had a great experience. The staff is very kind and the menu is simple. I ordered the crawfish which was AMAZING, my friends ordered the Mac and cheese, cream corned, and brisket and enjoyed all three. They also have a great beer selection. We sat outside and enjoyed the live music fantastic vibe. Would definitely come back for a nice meal in the sun!
