Mother's Cafe & Garden - Austin

Our son suggested julio for a jubilee dinner for my man and I. I love eating and service. My son has been eating there for 20 years. I'm just sorry we didn't know anything about this place before. we will definitely go back. her martinis are wonderful! So, all in all, eat good and drink plus the owner, stella, is a sweet lady.

I was sincerely shocked because of the lack of taste in this food. completely tasteless chicken and bark in $4.50 tacos. also tasteless salsa. I'm not sure how it's been in business. either I had a randomly bad cook or they need new recipes asap

I have lived in austin my whole life and julios is the best hidden gem of all tex mex. the red sauce and green sauce for enchiladas and a cool sunny day on the back terrace is everything. I've finished everything every time on my teller. tears and drilling are always perfect. I can't recommend them enough - the taste is exactly what I strive for cooking at home. it is so good Y’ALL!

They love this place, so easy to call in an order to pick up. eating is delicious, we love the veggie taco teller and frying, plus they can have a real delicious margarita while they wait when necessary.

Ordered a veggie taco and got SO MUCH squash. Usually places give some lame onions and mushrooms. This had vegetables galore. So delicious.The carnivore with me gave their food 4 stars. Obviously they should have gotten my dish! Fast service and outdoor seating (kinda squished). Not a glamorous spot. Solid, good food.
