They do a solid job with most dishes but some room for improvement. For a french restaurant in Texas it’s a formidable spot. The menu has staple traditional French dishes and the ambience is quiet and enjoyable. Our wine recommendation was solid. I have tried many of the dishes. I wasn’t super impressed with the duck confit, it was fairly dried out. But many have been very good.
Beautiful setting! The tent look is quite stunning and the back patio is great for outdoor hangouts. Had a few drinks at the bar while waiting for our table and the bartender was pleasant, informative and personable. Our server was quite relaxed but still decently attentive so no complaints there. The is food is okay. Had the mussels and octopus to start which was delicious but the escargo was very chewy and over cooked and the duck confit was dry. Unless they regularly update their menu I would not return for dinner but definitely for pre or post dinner drinks because the cocktails are delicious and the atmosphere and design is stunning!!!!
Love the vibes here. steak frites and the burgers are a must try. nice spot for special occasions or to take people visiting austin.
Really tasty dishes and a different environment! Every dish that came to our table was great and the service was very polite. The steak frites, pot roast, burger, and deserts were all equally delicious. Try the layered desert with vanilla cream that was extraordinary!
First off, everyone there is really chill, but at the same time knowledgeable. I had the duck and escargot. The escargot was tender and buttery, you would not know it's a snail if you close your eyes and eat it. It's delicious! The duck was falling off the bone, flavor is good, the skin is crispy. I would recommend you stopping by
