Came for lunch after work early. I'm lucky I live nearby that I can go here: My server was great and the food was delicious and fresh

They struggle with the staff, but also with only 1 waiter working up to 10 tables, we were well communicated and said it would take a bit to our order. We got it. As soon as we place our order, our food came within 15 minutes as ordered, and delicious as I always expect with their omelets. I hope that they will find employees and regain full function, as it is a diner that we like to visit from time to time with family and friends.

Jim's Restaurants have been a Texas staple for home cooked American style food for almost 50 years. The staff and management of every location are friendly and caring. The very ideal of the founders of Jim's is still carried out this very day. We have always been pleased with everything on the menu. All meals are prepared fresh upon order. Service is outstanding. The taste is heavenly. Jim's was the first restaurant we had our very first Texas meal in on the day we moved to Austin. We were treated with the same love and care that we received at lunch today over 6 months later. Come enjoy real honest Texas hospitality and a warm howdy every time you walk through the door.
