The tariff is fair. Staff do justice for food. The ambience fits a family style dinner with options for a Sunday brunch suitable for the morning after. You can't go wrong with Hyde Park.
Some things here are better than others, and these things are some of the Best of Austin: the Hyde Park battery-coated French fries, their weekend brunch roasted chicken and buttermilk waffles, their Hibiscus mint ice tea, and their legendary wom Kim pudding desert - which immersed essentially like the most luxurious caramelized peaches on the head of buttermilk cake in warm sweetness. Wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow. The dessert that follows this french could cheat almost everyone out of the dagger where he could be. Her grilled chicken with bacon sandwich is also a pretty decent option.
I'm always happy when I have the chance to visit Hyde Park Grill when I'm back in Austin, but that was another experience. Our sister died here from Sat., and after many days, we drove to HPG to get a warm meal. When we arrived there, wait 20-30 minutes. I mentioned that the hostess, Ruby, what we would have been through, and asked if there were any way to just add us earlier that we would be grateful. She kindly spoke to the next customer who gave up her place for us. It was a little gesture, but it meant so much to us the worst possible day. Thanks Ruby! (So the Chicken Fried Chicken was as perfect as ever.
I enjoy the Baruch chicken and waffles so delish the chicken was a bit over cooked this time. We really enjoy the frie basket prior to our meals always get that as our starter.
