Fulton - Austin

I was at AfroTech this year and I checked in at the Fairmont. I decided to checkout the Fulton and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Smoked Brisket Sliders, they came with sweet potato fries. My family is from Lockhart and I am a documented barbeque snob, trust me when I tell you these sliders were on point! They were moist, well seasoned and the cut wasn't fatty. The fries were delicious and actually crispy! I cannot remember the name of the drink, but it was a delicious gin cocktail ?. This was a great option for a light lunch in luxe setting and I plan to go again. 10/10, put on a cute outfit, come downtown and treat yourself to something nice.

The lobby bar restaurant at the Fairmont is a great spot to relax and enjoy a drink. The space is open and comfortable, making it perfect for lounging or reading a book before regular opening hours. It's also a great place for kids to run around, with a fascinating plastic tree as the centerpiece. At night, the atmosphere livens up with live music and a busy bar. Even though I only ordered a beer, the service was good. It's a casual environment perfect for catching up with friends. We were in town for a conference and this was a convenient spot for everyone to meet.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and piano player at this restaurant, the vibes were great and the colors were lovely. However, I was a bit disappointed with the lack of friendliness and prompt service from our waitress. Despite this, the drinks were delicious!

Asked one of the bartenders a question and gave me a rude answer and when I wanted to ask another he just turned around and walked to the other side of the bar. WILL NOT SPEND MY MONEY HERE

Staff were super! The very young handsome bartender didn 't know how to make my '80s drink but that was ok. I got something else and he made it a double. I got the brisket sliders and they were soooo good. Nice and juicy. They came with a side of sweet potato fries. Yummy! Served with two tiny squirt bottles of bbq sauce. . . just tried the spicy one cause that 's me . Everything was good and there was live music. Had a great evening! Sorry, I forgot to take pictures.
