CRU Food Wine Bar 2nd Street Downtown Austin

Great place. First time, but it won't be our last. We were seated upon arrival. We really enjoyed the food and the service was top notch. Stan made us feel like VIPs with his smooth and timely pours (delicious) and attention to detail. Besides our laughter and catching up, the place was quiet and relaxing on the weekday we went. Perfect! Already looking forward to next time.

They cancelled our reservation an hour before we were scheduled. They decided to open late. Ruined our plans for our anniversary.

Our server, Savanna, was excellent! She offers helpful suggestions and regularly checks in to see how we're doing. And she never lets the water glass go empty, which is so important in this heat.
