Ursula Brewery - Aurora

This is a nice spot to grab a drink with friends. While they don't serve food, you can order from the restaurant across the street, and they'll deliver it for free. One of the best things about this place is that they are dog-friendly. There’s an outdoor seating area, but it was quite sunny and there wasn’t any shade for our fluffy dog, so they kindly let us bring her inside. The bartender was very friendly, and we would definitely come back. The only downside was the parking—it’s all 2-hour street parking and can be a bit tight.

The scenery at this small brewery is fantastic. It's located in a prime spot and features unique decor. The tables are handmade, and the walls are adorned with lots of vintage beer cans. However, the beer itself leaves something to be desired. They don’t offer standard flight options, so you’ll need to order individual tasters instead. The overall beer selection is limited; the only straightforward option is the pilsner, which I did enjoy. I would recommend this brewery if you’re a fan of fruity and unique flavor combinations.

I stopped by for a quick beer and, although I usually prefer Porters or Stouts, there weren't any dark options on the menu. I chatted with the bartender about some interesting choices, and I decided to try the Couverture, which is brewed with dark cherry, pomegranate, chocolate, and sea salt. It was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. When I visited on a Saturday afternoon, there were plenty of seats available, but the bartender mentioned that from Monday to Friday, during the school year, it tends to get quite crowded, often "shoulder to shoulder and out the door."

Love this place ! Great chill spot for locals to hang. Amazing rotating selection of beers, there's always something new to try. Love the wall mural too
