Taqueria Durango - Aurora

One of the best places to eat in Aurora. Has been for over 40 years. Love that place! Not a fancy place but Great food! I now live in the Peoria area and I always take some Menudo home and eat some tacos while I wait. mmmmm

Awesome food.. love their meat cheese fries and the tacos are the best...yeah it is somewhat a greasepit.. but they have great food none the less

The food was great. We ordered Burrito's and Chimichanga's. They were huge and delicious. Our food came out fairly quickly. We had to get boxes to go in the end. Not too expense but not cheap either. Nice family feel to the restaurant. The staff was nice and attentive. The place is clean, including the bathrooms.

I drive from Elgin because every time I go, I have the best al pastor tacos that I’ve ever had. Tonight was packed with tables and to go orders and there was one waitress handling everyone and no one looked like they were upset with waiting. She was literally running everywhere she had to go. I was super impressed. I hope the owner reads this, checks the cameras and gives her a bonus with a raise. Fast food places and restaurants are closing down because people would rather collect unemployment than work. I hope she’s greatly appreciated. Compliments to the chefs of course too!

Came about this restaurant by accident. This by far is the best value for your dollar. Had the three taco platter with rice n beans. The tacos were double soft shell and loaded with meat. This taco had enough meat in them to fill at least 2 tacos anywhere else. The food was top notch, freshly prepared. The restaurant was very clean and organized. The staff went above and beyond in service. We took some food home with us, and the added more rice and beans in our carry out. And I don’t mean a little more, but Hugh size spoonfuls! This is my go to place for Mexican food.
