Tried this spot for the first time the other day it was delicious! I had the Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast meal (eggs/potatoes not pictured), Jamie had the chilaquiles (chips were dipped in enchilada sauce), mm mm was great!
I drove 40 minutes out from Denver to meet up with some friends. I looked up the place and the reviews and food looked very good. So we decided to go.I really didn 't like the server 's attitude I didn 't find out until I got my receipt from my orders that Her name was Britney. She NEVER introduced herself.. She was also pretty short with us.It 's my first time there so I wasn 't very familiar with the menu or where things were and my friends were asking questions like what sides do you have and what drinks you may have and she was very short she didn 't even answer my question on what drinks they had and instead of telling us what sides are possible to get such as French fries or super salad she rather informs us that well the sides are under such-and-such part of the menu.At the end when I told Her that it would be a separate Check for me and my friend She says I didn 't get the memo that it was gonna be a separate Check Small but snide comment and I said usually servers ask . I have never been to a restaurant Where the server doesn 't ask whether it 's a separate check for a group of 2 or more.If her attitude had been better with serving us and maybe checking in on us every so often I would have excused that remark and apologized.Either way I don 't live in this area and I won 't be coming back so it 's all good. But besides the service the food was delicious I got the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs It was absolutely fantastic.
We came in close to closing and our server Brittany so willing to take us even after asking if it was too late. With it being the end of the day she was kind, funny and attentive. We will definitely be back.
Not worth it. We usually go to Doug's Day Diner but decided to try something new. Eggs Benedict was way overcooked (yolks completely solid) and hollandaise was nothing to brag about. Cook was super skimpy with the reuben almost half the bread had no meat and the sandwich itself was super thin. Service was OK. Also consider that they are more expensive than our regular place, Doug's...so paying more and getting less that's lower quality is a hard pass for me. Definitely not coming here again.
