Danebu Kongsgaard Boutique Hotell

We held the memorial service after our dear Mother's passing at Danebu Kongsgård. They showed great hospitality, we were given a room to decorate according to our own wishes, they were service minded and professionals to work with. Thanks to Patrick Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5

Our stay at Danabu was not at a boutique hotell as expected, it was more like a average 3 star hotell. The standard suite was like a family room, but the bathroom was wery small and the ventilation was poor. The bar looked like a cafe, and so did the restaurant. The food was below average, the vaitors had no clue how to do their work, althoug there were one or two staff members who did their best. Almost 5000 nok for one night is way to much, and Danebu is not on the list of hotell we will return to. Sorry..

Just got home from a 2 day conference at Danebu. This was beyond all expectations. View over the Jotunheimen, absolutely fantastic atmosphere, the people who run the place are superb. The food was ABSOLUTELY brilliant. A committed chef who really showed what he was up to. Strongly recommended. Food drinks: Fantastic. Dice roll 6

Awesome! We only stayed 2 nights and didn’t want to leave. The cabin was huge, cosy and comfortable. Services and staff were super nice and helpful and skiing just up the road was great. Would 100% recommend and will be back :
