Pita Mediterranean Street Food- Augusta

My first experience here was not the best. After speaking to the manager, my food was replaced. I am so glad I gave Pita a second chance because this food is amazing! My gyro was perfect, as was the greek salad! The service was great also! I spoke with the owner when picking up my replacement meals, and he apologized for my first experience. He assured me that the quality of food I received today was what is expected everyday. Thank you for making this right and showing me what your restaurant is actually capable of. I will be back!

6 of us enjoyed a delicious, reasonably priced meal, with friendly hospitality. Run by a good family, the kind who deserve our business!

Technically food: very expensive for poor qualityI would not recommend this place to anyone. While the workers were very nice and friendly, they forgot my request for no pickles which were soaked into my falafel wrap. When my gracious partner offer to eat my order and gave me his “steak platter”. Quotes because I’m not entirely sure this “meat” was actual beef. It was clearly processed and crumbly in texture, and paste like in mouth feel. I had not expected to experience such poor quality food for a $15 meal.The grilled veggie side was sparse and flavorless. The carrot was clearly boiled beforehand.The only passable aspect of this meal was the salad, fries, and pita slices. All of those met typical expectations.I do not expect this chain will spread as it does not care to provide qualify food to its customers.

Very clean, well kept restaurant. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Cashier explained the dishes that were offered and what was included with them. The chicken shawarma bowl was delicious and a very good portion of food. Baklava Cheesecake was amazing. I will most definitely be back!

I visited for the first time and was very impressed by the level of service. I had a warm and soft wrap, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. The fries were also delicious, and the food was really fresh. Oh, and the cheesecake is the best in town! I can definitely see this becoming my new weekly go-to spot.
