Contribuiți la feedbackOnly bad thing i will say is that the guy behind the counter was overwhelmed and very shorthanded. He had to one man all orders. However, this southern salad... weirdest combination yet amazing seriously one of the best salads i have ever had. I did switch out the Sweet Basil vinegrette with the Strawberry only because I was recommended this option by a friend. It made it DELICIOUS will definitely return
This place recently opened up and it seems to be targeted towards the millennial crowd and all of the stereotypes associated with that. Since I 'm squarely included in that demographic, I decided to give it a try. The ingredients in my grain bowl were all fresh and tasty. I ordered the Triple B which included avocados, quinoa, BBQ ranch, and a whole bunch of other millennial-centric flavors. I added shrimp to my bowl for 3 dollars extra, and while they only gave me 4 pieces, they were actually surprisingly fresh and exceptionally well seasoned. My wife made her own bowl with salmon (extra salmon , corn, butternut squash, bleu cheese and roaster peppers and she said she loved it. What I didn 't love was the price however. It was essentially 30 bucks for the southern equivalent of a poké bowl. While the meals were tasty and filling, I can 't really feel great about spending that much. In addition, my wife bought a bottle of cashew milk made by earth candy which is apparently an Augusta, GA locally owned brand (which is the case for a lot of ingredients in this store... locally owned, farm to table is this places thing , and while it was great tasting it also set us back 10 dollars alone for 16 ounces of drink. I wouldn 't have encouraged her to buy it had I known. I guess you get to keep the bottle at least... Anyway, I would rate this place higher if it wasn 't so expensive but I guess that 's part of the appeal of these kinds of places.
My 97-year-old grandmother wanted some beets for dinner and I def didn't know how to start cooking beet. I googled beets Augusta and the southern salad appeared! I called to ask if they just make beer and they have it from my surprise. Went home put her on the stove to soften her something as my Gma wanted and served her. She ate the whole side of the beet and the side of the Butternuss quash she wanted more. To the two men who work tonight at 6 p.m., DANKEN for your amazing customer service and give me no hard time about my random request. She loved her!!
My friend and I just finished Ironman70.3 and we went here for smoothies! Tim was amazing!!! The smoothies were great and delicious! Top notch service and delicious smoothies!!
While road trippin for the week we decided to make a stop in Augusta. After food poisoning in KY (our fault, should've left the second we walked in) and inadvertently eating gluten at a restaurant in South Carolina (we're gluten free), we needed some REAL food. The Southern Salad was AMAZING!! The food was fresh and Jason was very friendly knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back if we ever come through Agusta again!!
