Golden Corral Buffet Grill - Augusta

This was a large sitting area with enough waiting staff that they have a clean table and full drinks. the device of food bars was different than most in the chain. they had marked each station well so that they can go to the type of food they want. I can't say that the labels were correct over any servier floor. some had their breakfast items on it. they do not need masks and they have stopped waiting for the staff to bring them a plate. the area of food lobby was large enough that even if the place was crowded, they did not hit other people. If we're back in this area, we'd probably go back there.

It was okay. We decided to get something and sit down. My kid ate all her food. I have a bit, but most definitely loved the cheese biscuit they had. Food was descent, can’t complain for a buffet and something quick to eat.

I Observed The Staff At This Golden Coral To Be Disrespectful And Rude To A Patron. The Female Waitress Stood Over Her In An Intimidating Way. She Demanded That She Dump Her Food Into A Plate And Even Told Her It Would Be A Problem If She Didn 't! The Patron Asked To Speak With The Manager. When He Arrived And She Began To Describe The Rude Waitresses’ Behavior, He Told Her To Hurry Up With Her Story !!! I Was Appalled By How She Was Treated. I Was Not Surprised When She Walked Out Telling Them That She Was Going To Call Corporate. I Left Shortly Thereafter. Needless To Say I Will Not Be Patronizing The Bobby Jones Golden Coral Anymore Due To The Tolerated Rudeness And Disrespect By Staff And Supported By Management. I Would Like To Commend The Patron For Handling Herself Like A Lady. I Can Not Say That I Would Have Managed Myself As Well As She Did.

Ordered Food from the catering menu Mac cheese came very loose and cheesy with hardly no macaroni, bourbon chicken came all mixed in with the rice, pulled pork came with no bbq sauce. I had to wait forever for them to pack the food up. Not real happy with the results. No serving utensils.

Only half of the hot dinner bars were available. Very little lettuce available at salad bar (lots of water at the bottom of the lettuce bowl). Dessert bar was limited. The best part of the visit was the server. We sat in the back corner on Monday night (total of nineteen people in my group) and the server was very friendly. She promptly refilled drinks and removed plates timely. We left $20 tip on my table. Others left over $50 tips on their tables. If we return we hope she will still be there. Don't remember her name but she was any older blonde hair lady.
