Haunstetter Hof - Augsburg

Eating was a reasonable price edible - apart from breakfast not much more. I have a great chicken salad there.

We were looking for a restaurant near augsburg to eat something else. directly at the hauptstr. the haunstätter hof. ok. then pure with us. in the front room the chicken roastery, there delicious chickens at the grill. (also street sales).Saw in the dining room then first inviting. food card also offers more than just hendl (scarving etc.)I ordered half a chicken with pommes frites and salat, my wife an salat with brush-resistant. my salat consisted of some daumendick slices, two pieces of a quartered tomate, and a handful of green salad over it. little salat sauce. the chicken (9,95 €) was a catastrophe. Probably half the chicken was in the grill forever after it was halved before, or, as I suspect, it was thrown into the friteuse again in a short hand. it did not taste, and was tough at the edges; impossible to cut. I was just shocked after seeing the fresh chickens at the grill some time before. I still give 2 points, because my wife rated her salate to some extent.

The feeds correspond to German standard kitchen, but are highly improved. the staff was very sober and not necessarily friendly at our two visits. will no longer be visited locally.

Cheap lunch in medium quality. the products used were fresh. luxuriant portions with plentiful eyes and flesh. that was not saved. the gastgarten has a little inviting effect (directly next to the road).

By falling and somewhat skeptical we found this restaurant and marveled that there are still good German cuisine! we couldn't resist and ordered a quarter of the day card with knödeln and blue herb and a great sauce! as from the extremely service-filled waiter assured, the duck came fresh and cusprig on the table and very fast. the nice waiter repeatedly asked if everything was in order. although we were tired, we could not deny it (from Prussia) and order a portion of the original Kaiserschmarrn. it was a successful evening in a simple but neat and well maintained Bavarian restaurant with local cuisine, which was eating well, the service really courtesy and fast, the drinks well maintained - and all this at a really acceptable price. when we will be back in augsburg to pick up our new toyota in the royal fountain in the march, it is not a question where we will be smiling - in the haunstetter farm.Thanks to the cook, the service and.
