Talay Thai - Auckland

A very lovely start to our dinner. My partner and I were welcomed by a nice looking girl. We were seated and served with drinks. <br/ <br/ Our first dish came along promptly. It was nice and tasted of Thai all over. Nicely made but I do think the chicken was over cooked but this was perfectly hidden with peanut sauce. Either that or it is supposed to be over cooked. <br/ Everything else was lovely. The service was exceptionally nice.

Ordered 2 dishes and they were delivered via @menulog. Both were still hot and delicious when they arrived. Meat was tender and flavours were great. Medium was a bit hotter than expected but manageable.Thank you

Lovely food as always and we continue to come back here. Meals are a generous size and all the dishes have lots of meat which not a lot of other Asian style restaurants tend to have. There was only one waiter on, so service was a bit slow but we were brought a complementary entree to compensate for the fact our meals were going to take a little longer. Will definitely be back and would happily recommend it to others.

Went here for lunch today after walking the whole street and finding quite a few Asian restaurants closed. Staff lady was very polite and precise. Decor and music was nice too. My order took exactly 8 mins (as I had a short lunch break so was checking the time) Food taste and quality was good too. Quantity not too much not too little. I ordered red curry and the star rice was so cute. For $11.50 this was a great lunch!

Thank you to the wonderful staff who made and served our food on Tuesday evening. I asked for gluten free food and they went our of their way to change the sauce in my favourite dish to accommodate my allergies. They were very knowledgeable and happy to help. Amazing service and will surely be back!
