Revelry - Auckland

Revelry is my favorite bar on Ponsonby Road. I was there on Saturday night for a friend's birthday and unfortunately forgot to take photos again because I was having such a great time! But I wanted to write a review anyway. We had a great spot near the fireplace and shared some of their delicious platters. They are perfect for sharing. The staff even created a special cocktail menu for our event, with drinks named after diving terms and including the birthday boy's favorites. I have been here before and the regular menu is also fantastic. If you want to have a more restaurant-style meal on a Friday or Saturday night, make sure you arrive before 9:30-10pm, as the tables are taken away to make room for dancing. Whether you want to grab a meal, have drinks, dance the night away, or host an event, I definitely recommend checking out Revelry.

This place spiced up my Birthday night! The staff here are wonderful people who actually seem to care about their profession. They provided us with great service, laughter and some great banter. The place is famous for its cocktails and ambiance. The food isn't too ambitious but then again, that isn't their main focus anyway. Would defs recommend this place.

Zomato's 7th Birthday party was a blast!!!  Fun, noisy, loaded with lots of friendly people I don't think the guys at Revelry knew what they were getting into when they agreed to this..... <br/ <br/ As we entered obligatory photos (hate to think) and then toward the bar stacked a mile high with pretty twin coloured birthday cupcakes...  Cocktails made to order... 7 Candles (an espresso martini twist) with vodka, chilli mocka coffee... and The Rogue Zoman (a tom collins twist) with gin, rosemary infused sugar syrup, and bubbles!!! of course!!!  Boy did we keep those bar staff busy serving cocktail after cocktail!!<br/ <br/ I loved the interior a fun, comfortable but eclectic with an asian? twist....<br/ <br/ with us all so busy partying the food was devoured the only photo I have is as it is leaving the kitchen!!!! which sums it up will have to head back for my own plate and not share with anyone.<br/ <br/ great night and fun party venue!!

Great atmosphere for UFC and rugby events. Food and drinks selections very good, as well as friendly staff and service. Enjoy catching up with friends here.

Good cocktails, good bar food, great atmosphere, tunes are good, with a bit of new and old music! Great place to come have a drink and a dance. Otherwise, drinks and nibbles.
