Casa Del Gelato Mt Eden - Auckland

A lovely little ice cream joint in mt eden village. Ordered chocolate and salted caramel sundae, they both taste so yum! it’s creamy and not too sweet, goes really well together. will come back and try other flavour!

Nice flavours to choose from, tasting spoons no problems, well presented ice cream with delicious toppings. Good sized servings. No complaints at all.

Food: we had ordered a Brownie Monstroshake (w Ferrero Gelato as the Milkshake), a Nutella w Pretzels Monstroshake, and a Nutella w Peanut Pretzels Monstroshake. Presentation was satisfactory, inducing amazement and wonder. However taste did not meet expectations, as it was eithet way too sweet, or no flavour at all.<br/ <br/ Service: Staff was friendly and helpful.<br/ <br/ Ambience: Cute little cozy shop, not for big groups as seating is limited.

Gelato is always good. I can justify spending $5 for a scoop for gelato but not ice cream. <br/ <br/ Flavors are nice, but not rich enough. Love this place! Never been here before so was really impressed. Yeah it's expensive at $13.50 for a milkshake but there's a lot of effort that goes into it and it's Mt Eden, what do you expect, really. But the flavours were awesome! A little bit thin but still great and the toppings are super creative too. Thanks!
