After a long day of traveling from California to Auckland, I was hoping for a pleasant meal by the harbor. Unfortunately, this restaurant did not meet my expectations — it wasn't quite as good as I'd hoped, and it didn't capture my attention enough to make me want to stay.

We were in search of a nice meal after our ferry excursion, and this place truly hit the mark. The decor is quite intriguing in a good way, and we were seated in large, comfortable wingback chairs...

We visited this restaurant for a special occasion, and it certainly did not disappoint. We both ordered the ribeye on the bone; I opted for the bone marrow and truffle butter, while my son chose the garlic parsley butter. I also enjoyed the buffalo mozzarella salad, which was all incredibly delicious and fresh. It was lovely to sit and watch the ferries come and go. I particularly liked the whole roast basket that accompanied our meal.

My partner and I dined here to celebrate our anniversary, and everything was absolutely perfect. The cocktails, appetizers, and main dessert were all excellent. We highly recommend the wagyu gyoza as an appetizer! As for the main courses, my partner ordered the lamb rack cooked medium rare and said it was the best lamb he’s ever had. I enjoyed the salmon, which was cooked to perfection as well. We’re excited to return here in the future!
