A Cote - Aubusson

We took a walk through this picturesque old town and found ourselves next to an old bridge with a beautiful looking building that houses a smart tea/coffee shop/cafee and rooms. We decided to sit outside under a big roof under 6 tables looking over an old bridge. The young lady who served us made us very attentive. The lunch menu had a good selection of dishes as usual in France for a very good price and we ate while we come and go around us. I can recommend the tea Gourmand as it came with a delicious selection of small rolls, including a choux with apricot sensorbet and also mascara with cinnamon and a chocolate muffin. Delicious! Nice place for a good lunch and sit down.

Staff very friendly. Pastry cook needs an award best pastries ever. But this time we had desserts, none of which was too much. A type of Angel Delight type Goo with plums on the base. The other one Nutella type Goo surrounded by shop purchased sponge fingers. Let the food down. Would definitely return, but would not have Dessert again. Good value for money otherwise.

We were a party of 3. Two ordered the plate du jour saumon. It was not cooked inside. After some time we were served again, but not cooked properly. I wanted to return mine, but I didn't want to cause any further delay. My friend, who has restricted mobility and invited us, asked to bring the bill to the table, but they told him he had to go to cash. We were told that an adjustment to the invoice was made, but we were charged the full price. Will not visit again.

A absolutely fabulous xx. Spotless and everything you could wish for xxxx stayed here for two nights, river setting was great xxx staff were lovely, helped with parking x. Nothing touch trouble

An accidental find in a delightful location amongst ancient buildings and next to the river. The young lady who served us was so friendly and multi-talented, multi-bilingual, pleasure to meet and chat with her. It was a lovely day if a little breezy so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the location. The interior is beautifully and fashionalby decorated. We only had drinks but would definitely return to try other things if in the area again.
