Tantrum's Lakeside Grill - Auburndale

The food was outstanding, and the view was lovely. We dined on the deck, which was a great experience. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous. I was searching for a seafood restaurant I hadn’t tried before. I’m not sure how long they’ve been in business, but I've lived in the area for nearly 30 years and just discovered this gem. I'm really glad I did!

Duncan, Maryanne, and their staff provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, delivering five-star hospitality during your time on the water. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating for our large group, and the food was outstanding—better than we had anticipated! If you haven't tried this hidden gem yet, you're really missing out!

The atmosphere is lovely and inviting. It's a great spot to unwind with a bucket of beer. They serve comforting dishes and delicious Wake bowls. The staff is friendly, making it a fun place to visit with kids. Just a quick tip: if you want to speed up the tow lines, don’t hesitate to ask; it’ll help you pull off some better tricks!

It was so good that I visited two days in a row! I was in the area for work and discovered Tantrums Wake Board Cable Park, which has a charming little café inside. The food was fresh and delicious. On Monday, I had the Wave Bowl with blackened shrimp, and today I enjoyed the grilled chicken BLT. Both meals were fantastic!

This is a fantastic spot with tasty food and a wonderful atmosphere! Since the Cable Park shares the same building, you can sit outside, enjoy your meal and a drink while watching the wakeboarders perform jumps and spins. It turned out to be a delightful afternoon, just a short walk from Cabana Resort. We tried the street corn and shrimp, along with a bucket of Coors Light. You simply order what you want, find a seat anywhere, and they'll bring your order to you. It's a great place!
