Himalayan Fusion Cafe - Auburn

The restaurant, originally named and promoted as Himalayan Fusion, turned out to be something different. The staff was attractive and the decor was simple, but lacking. The dumplings were decent, but the standout dish of the evening. The biryani was too spicy and the Chicken Thali was bland. We didn't finish any of our dishes and ended up leaving quickly to go to a nearby baklava cafe.

This restaurant offers delicious Nepalese food at very affordable prices. I have visited multiple times over the past five years and have always been pleased with the quality and taste of the food. I do wish they had a liquor license as it would enhance the dining experience. The service may not be VIP, but it matches the casual dining atmosphere of the restaurant. Their Momo, Goat Chowyla, Khaja Set, and other dishes are all excellent. I highly recommend returning to this restaurant.

The food had a high oil content, but it was served hot. The taste was good and the ambiance was average. Delivery orders were fulfilled in 20 minutes. There were limited options for vegetarians, but a wide variety of choices for non-vegetarians.

Worst Momo and Thukpa ever had in my life.... Vegeterian Momo stuffed with potatoes. And Thukpa made with incorrect selection of noodles!!

Reminds you of taste we get in India. Its a great place for casual dine in. Nicely priced. We go regularly for momos.
