Red Lobster - Auburn

The atmosphere here is absolutely delightful! They also have a fantastic variety of cookbooks and works of fiction. We had a great time browsing through them while enjoying our coffee. Plus, all the baristas were incredibly cheerful and friendly!

During my visit, they had almost every book in a series I was reading except for one. The owner kindly offered to order it for me. There was a mix-up with the publisher, who sent the wrong cover and a more expensive edition. However, the owner honored the original price for the version I wanted. Although we only spoke that one time, he remembered my name and greets me warmly every time I come in. He even takes the time to remember the names of other patrons as they come and go, making everyone feel welcome. The staff is efficient, ensuring everything runs smoothly. The ambiance is cozy, with various seating options available, including indoors, on the front patio, in the front yard, and on the back patio. Parking can be a bit challenging, but I've found an empty lot across the street that is quite handy. I've even brought my dog here to enjoy the outdoor seating, making it a pet-friendly local coffee shop. Just remember to bring waste bags for your furry friend and have a great time!

The shop offers a fantastic selection of books, wine, pastries, and café drinks like coffee and tea. I wanted to try a book they didn't have in stock, and the owner or manager was more than willing to order it for me. He makes an effort to remember customers' names, which adds to the warm, homey atmosphere. Although it's consistently busy whenever I visit, there are always several hardworking staff members behind the counter, so waiting in line never feels too bad. They host many fun events every week that I'm eager to check out. It’s truly a local gem!

Best coffee in town! If you want a real cup of coffee, this is the place. Crafted breakfast items, pastries, and treats. My new favorite spot!

Less bookstore and more cafe, Well Red is very well designed and has wonderful service. The major downfall at my visit was overcrowding. I brought a book to read and ordered a drink for here, hoping a table would open up, but all of the tables were taken up by people who seemed to be overstaying. When the very nice barista brought me my cappuccino, plated with a piece of chocolate and seltzer water, I was unable to find a place to sit (besides an cramped bar seat) and had to ask her to place it on the bar. I walked around for around 10 minutes nursing my coffee but still couldn't find anything. Finally as I was leaving, and my drink already finished, I found a table on the front porch. By then the warmth of the place was sapped. I'm not sure what the solution should be, but for more people to fully enjoy this place, time limits would be appreciated.
