Nori Japan - Auburn

The seafood ramen is incredibly refreshing, but it was the rice dishes that truly made my day. A big shoutout to the dedicated staff for their hard work. We also want to express our gratitude to the Nuqui family for that fantastic meal.

As a restaurant chain with "JAPAN" in your name, I found it surprising that you do not offer chopsticks or hot sauce, especially when you have a poster stating this. Unfortunately, the chicken I received was undercooked. Additionally, the containers for liquids were flimsy and broke easily while I was handling them, and the straws were too short. I paid for my meal with hard-earned money, which makes my disappointment even greater. I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve. This is not a criticism of your staff; they are doing their best. Thank you.

The chicken was undercooked, there was hardly any sauce, and the portion size for $10 was very disappointing. I would advise you to avoid this place. I love teriyaki, but this was actually the worst I've ever had.

I asked if they could cook it a bit longer, but the staff member became visibly upset that I even mentioned this about my food. She insisted it was done, but I pointed out that I had just ordered it less than a minute ago and showed her my receipt. She claimed it was pre-cooked, but I told her I couldn’t eat it like that as it would make me sick. Then she said she couldn’t put it back on the grill because it had sauce on it. I asked for a refund, but she responded that they don’t do refunds, only exchanges. I reiterated that I wanted an exchange since I couldn’t feed this to myself or my toddler. In a dismissive tone, she said, “Give me your card; I don’t want to see you back here again.” I will never return given the level of customer service I received. It’s no surprise they have a one-star rating. The staff seems incredibly rude, and I will be sure to warn everyone I know against coming here. The photo doesn’t even capture how bad it truly was.

I'm not sure why there are so many low-star reviews. The food was fantastic! Compared to the other options in the mall, you can get a beef and rice meal for just $12.
