Koong Thong Thai Cuisine - Auburn

This is our way to get Thai food. the portions, quality and pricing are all great. we have ordered a lot of orders and I can't say we're disappointed with everything. the tom kah kai, yellow curry and of course pad thai are the favorites we always come back. we often order extra booby or bang with our court for only 2!

Genuine spicy Thai food in a casual environment to make reasonable trips. we really enjoyed our dinner here, although the ac did not work and the service was slow.

My wife and I have been eating here for years. we love Thai food and order exclusively from coong thing when they are open. but sometimes we get an appetit on Sunday when koong thong is closed, so if we try different Thai restaurants. no place has curry that even close to how good coong thongs it is. we have eaten three times in a week before at koong thong. my wife and I both love the red chicken curry and bark cushion se ew. sometimes I get yellow curry. I tried curry from another the Thai restaurant today and only half eaten before I just wanted to pour it on the drain. the only side of koong thong is that it is not always consistent. I once received yellow curry, which was watery and did not appear cocos milk in it. sometimes we get rice with a dish and other paints we get no rice. next time we will pay for rice because we will not get rice with the same order before and then get double rice. the seasoned are sometimes uneven, but we have no sense that because we assume it is because they use fresh paprika that can vary greatly in the heat. be careful only if they are sensitive to wort. I love spice that hurts to go in and out, but my wife like a much milder level of spice. I had 5 stars that I could hardly finish and some that tasted like 3 stars. my wife had 3 stars that they taste like 5 stars or 0 stars. independent of the heat is true, but it is always delicious. Finally, the owner is very friendly and this is a nice family owner place. in the 5 6 years we have eaten here, I have never seen anyone else working on the recipe. I was there when it's dead and when it's ashamed and it's obviously stressed. highly recommended.

I had the red curry substituted tofu for huh and my man had the chickenerphad thai. they were both delicious. we will definitely return. the atmosphere could be improved, but eating was so good. we came back and tried the cashew nut and masumum curry. they were both delicious!

This place looks small but it's interior is pretty authentic and most importantly it is clean! we had the Shrimp Fried Rice and the 19 Pad Thai and it was authentic and delicious. A bit spicy but very good.
