This is a great place in downtown Atlanta to take dinner and a drink. It is close to many other bars and restaurants, and it is late open, so it is perfect for the foreplay, the main event, or even the after party. We went before we saw a piece at Fox Theater, which was less than ten minutes walk away. They offer free parking at the nearby (1 minute walk) parking garage of the apartment complex, so this is also a big plus. The two-storey restaurant is beautifully decorated and dimly illuminated for a really cozy feeling. We loved their huge selection of beer, as well as their menu that had everything from big appetizers to thick burgers and big sandwiches. I also really enjoyed their Boozy Gummy Bears - a super fun and unique treat!
Good beer and even better service. There was no food, but the majority of people eating seemed to enjoy themselves. Would go back.
We live near the Torched Hop, so it is finished a standard place for if we want to go somewhere simple and tasty. Staff are always friendly and attentive and we had some great food and drinking recommendations. The place itself is cool, but always feels really calm and this way throws me because I think of breweries/bars being alive, but the positive side is that we never have to wait to sit somewhere. We have also recently discovered that it is a good place to watch sports because they have 2 TVs in the bar area, 2 large projector screens upstairs dining area and I think a TV or two in the lower dining/backball area. The food is also pretty good. We liked everything we ordered, but I was particularly happy with the selection. If I'm in the mood for wings or a Cheesy pleasure castle, then I'm always happy with what I get. But if I am more in the mood for something light like a salad, then I was really happy with the portion and quality of the ingredients. I hate a boring iceberg salad “salad” and I couldn’t find any pictures of what the Torched Hop offered for salads, so I have a chance one day and I’m glad I did! Beer and wine and cocktail selection is also great. I just wait for more people to discover this place, but at the same time I love that it feels so quiet and small neighborhood.
Found this jewel on untapp, and what a finding it was! Independent brewery located at Ponce with a very nice variety of craftbeers, the place is beautiful and they have an N64 for you old school gamers out there. Totally loved each beer, my burger and the dessert, but to be honest the best was the stout that I had at the end, simply killer!
