The Steamhouse Lounge - Atlanta

My husband and I were looking for a laid-back place to have a meal around 5pm on a Friday. Steamhouse Lounge was the place. He had fried catfish and I had steamed mussels with a side of hush puppies. The meals plus ice cold beers made a great start to the weekend. Max, the waiter, was fun and engaging. We recently moved to the neighborhood and it was wonderful to find this Nawlins style eatery an easy within walking distance. We will be back!

Omg this place is such a nice dive vibe. The patio is perfect outside especially while the sun is setting. The food was really good. I ordered the grilled red snapper dinner, no substitutions. Also ordered hush puppies and calamari both were delicious. Can't wait to try their crab legs. The mango Margarita was tasty too. FREE VALET! Don't forget to tip them!Parking: Free valet

Ms. Cheese is a awesome waitress and it was very nice talking with someone who knew the old-school Atlanta late night ? crowd from the old daze! Food was excellent and my daughter really enjoyed the lobster roll bisque. Thanks again for the wonderful afternoon and trip down memory lane.

Not fancy and we liked it! Great seafood! We got a dozen oyster, lobster rolls, and veggies. The Lobster Bisque is good even though it's not Maine. Highly recommend if you're craving seafood and looking for something easy.

The food was very good. I liked the atmosphere and how there was both indoor and outdoor seating. Service could have been better.
