The Painted Pin - Atlanta

My last experience here was horrible. When I came in the place was basically empty. But I stood at the front for almost 8 minutes into the security went and got the young lady from the back. Then she comes out and tells me come back in 10 more minutes. So I sat down and waited. While atleast 5 more tables left. And she still had me waiting. Then the whole time I was waiting they didn’t clean the tables.

To the owners and the managers of Painted pin, I was at your soft opening and I love the concept and decor however the food is severely under performing. I was there yesterday with a family group and no one enjoyed anything we ordered food wise. The edamame was swimming in way too much warm soy sauce, why? That ruined it. The pizza had too much truffle oil and it was just too greasy to eat and the beef dogs came with a caramel sauce that added absolutely nothing to the flavor profile whose idea was that? It’s quite gross. Also sticking your hands in used bowling balls and then only offering finger foods and no sanitizer is a strange kind of punishment for such an upscale vibe- offer food you can eat with a fork and be clean from bacteria. That’s thinking outside the box. We had three different waiters and my mother had to go to the bar and get another beer because no one came back in a timely fashion and when they did they silently took plates away and disappeared again and we were almost the only people there so I could only imagine when it’s packed how the service would be. Y’all can do so much better and I look forward to visiting again

So this place is fun for a group and has excellent service. The only downside is we had kids with us and so did practically everyone else. @5pm they promptly ask everyone with kids to leave and the place basically emptied out. I understand it’s a bar but still, 5 pm is super early for an establishment to change into bar mode. I would say 7 or 8ish would be more realistic. I don’t know if they are limited by some Fulton county ordinance or what.

Go just after they open if you want to actually play! I went at 1:30/1:45pm and was able to bowl immediately. I was surprised the prices aren’t actually bad, $30 to bowl and then I think $10 for rental shoes for 2 people. The drinks were really really good and the fries are a huge plate and amazing! Fun games aside from bowling as well.

Our company had a great event here! Craig Hank were great and provided exceptional service from start to finish. The food was tasty there were plenty of different drink options to choose from. All of the games were fun too! Everyone enjoyed themselves!
