Tastee Spoon - Atlanta

The food and ambiance at this restaurant are outstanding! They have live music on Fridays and Saturdays, so I’m definitely planning to return for that as well. This is a must-visit restaurant, and I never thought anyone could surpass my previous favorite spot in Decatur. They’ve totally exceeded my expectations here! Bravo!

The food is quite good, but you should be cautious because the staff may take advantage if you're not paying attention. As I often do, I handed my card to the waiter. He returned it along with the receipt, which I signed without much thought. Later, when I reviewed the receipt, I discovered they had added an 18% service charge without informing me. Always check your bill before signing when you visit! They can take extra money from you without you realizing it.

The price for the brown stew has jumped to $17, and they’ve increased the prices on everything else too! They really need to have a consistent chef because the quality of the food has been very hit or miss lately, and unfortunately, it's been more misses. The oxtails weren't great either. Overall, it’s just not worth it! It feels like they’ve lost their way! I decided to give them another chance and called in my order 30 minutes before I arrived, only to be told they hadn’t seen my order. That was really disappointing! I ended up spending $37 for just four pieces of oxtail, and I’m extremely frustrated. I won’t be coming back.

The food is AMAZING but the service is **** POOR. the pregnant lady does NOT need to be at the front . if the food wasn’t good , I wouldn’t come back if she was my last impression. attitude is HORRIBLE .
