Talat Market - Atlanta

This restaurant is fantastic! I had a quick dinner here with three other people recently, and we were really impressed. We returned this past weekend with a group of seven on a busy Saturday night. The staff was incredibly accommodating, from the waiting area to our table. Every team member who came by with drinks or food made a positive impression. It's the small details that count, from the flavors to the presentation. My favorite dish is the spicy papaya salad, but there are many other wonderful options on the menu. Thank you, Aileen and the team. We will definitely be back!

I highly recommend starting your meal with the incredible appetizers. The salad is a stunning mix of fresh ingredients and crunchy bits, offering a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The crispy rice salad is a must-try staple, and it’s absolutely perfect. The papaya salad has a unique twist from Talay Market, with added flavors and textures that elevate it even further. The mushroom laap is a delightful burst of fresh umami and herbal notes that you won’t want to miss. If you're fortunate enough to find the mango tasting with coconut rice pudding on the menu, be sure to indulge in it! We’re not typically cocktail drinkers, but the cocktails here sounded amazing, with everyone raving about theirs. I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu. Vegetarians will be pleased to find plenty of vegetable options available!

In terms of the restaurant's atmosphere, it was wonderful, and the service was top-notch. I also appreciate good background music, which they provided. As for the cocktails – they were fantastic! I’d be happy to return just for the drinks and desserts. As for dress code: it's a more local spot, situated in a neighborhood, so you'll find everything from casual family outfits to cute attire for a first date. Parking: There's a small parking lot, but plenty of street parking is available.

Overall great experience. We ordered 2 Tropical Healing cocktails (white rum, coconut cream, pineapple, orange), a Northern Thai beef tartare, andCrispy rice salad. The crispy rice salad was one of the best salads I’ve ever hands down. It was busy with a lot of ingredients that just flowed together. The cocktails were refreshing and made well and the beef tartare was excellent. The flavors were bold and exciting, perfectly executed take on a classic dish.

A friend of mine and myself have been waiting to go Talat for a long time! It was absolutely worth the wait. The food was absolutely amazing. The crispy rice salad and the green curry were fabulous. The cocktails were excellent and you can tell they put a lot of effort into flavor combinations. Would highly suggest going to Talat and enjoying the complete experience.
