Pittypat's Porch Restaurant - Atlanta

We had a wonderful time with this beautiful return of southern hospitality. An employee noticed going to the door a bit before opening. We were received and the bartender was informed. We sat in the swing chairs in the waiting area. The barkeep ran in no time and we soon sat at the bar with cold drinks. I had a delicious local beer, a tad hoppy, but well together, my fellow traveler had a gin and tonic that relieves me a Uber was preordered. In a few moments we were presented with menus and informed that we can sit short or order immediately at the bar. We decided some appetizers at the bar to strengthen us was the best course. The black bean patties with peaches were taste with a beautiful browning but remained moist. The fried green tomatoes were simply made right. A nice medium thick slice of a lump green tomato, not too much bread and fried only enough to get hot. We enjoyed the service, the atmosphere, the food and the drinks, a wonderful time had from all.

Great food. Unbelievable, grounded hostess. Courtesy and knowledgeable waiting staff. Warm and fuzzy liberations. Quality to pay. Patio There is a fairly southern experience. Parking next door or over for extra comfort.

Very good food. Decorated in the Gone with The Wind Theme - although I could do without the filled birds, personally. Friendly service. Casual. Had the salmon.

A very clean and friendly staff at this point. We came with a group of more than 10 people, we sat within 10 minutes and had a wide selection of delicious dishes available. The food was prepared in time and served. The servers were very helpful and made sure we had full drinks at any time. After dinner waiting for the bill was very short and the prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere of the place was very relaxed and comfortable for all of us. I would definitely recommend this facility for anyone who enjoys a good dinner, good drinks and a family style dinner or casual drink and munch.

Simply an amazing restaurant! Make a reservation if possible but they do take walkins and be hungry! The chicken and ribs were melt in your mouth good! Everything on the sideboard was fresh and delicious especially the Chicken Salad. Save room for dessert and get the peach cobbler! If you can drink get a specialty cocktail, best you will ever have I promise.
