Marcello's Trattoria - Atlanta

NYC transplant here. After receiving a bundle of recommendations from neighbors in the opposite, I arrived to place a call order. as already mentioned, the workers will ignore them. there was a waitress who walked around and couldn't even recognize someone at the door. there was a group of people who pour beside the main entrance — I suppose some of them were the restaurant owners. they also ignored me when I came in. I even sat next to them while waiting for my order and not one person greeted me, but they adopted some others when they left the restaurant. while I abandoned my order, one of the owners (I suppose) pushed me powerfully. I didn't think about it until he turned around to look back (what he did.) I thought he would apologize, but he took a look at me, then it went back and went straight into the kitchen. what really annoyed me is that I deliberately ordered personally so that I would get a freshly made cake. it was clearly an older pizza that was reheated; the crust and the floor were completely burned and the center of the pizza was ice cold. far from it. eating was nothing too rave. calamari was made fresh, but overall extremely bland. harder pass. will not come back.

We love marcelos! we eat there at least once in the month. sitting inside or outside is great. we are treated like family and eating is excellent. highly recommended.

The margherita was delicious, but I would have loved more leopard spots and a fluffy crust. the ingredients were fresh and the server was very friendly. recommended!

Moved from the Northeast years ago and still having problems find a good ole' NYC style pizza. Tried a few places and for some reason it's all over salted. Marcello's was pretty close to a classic NY pizza. I have light cheese and well done. The sauce is not tangy and the dough was perfect. Will order again for sure! Grazie Grazie!

This became our default pizza delivery place during the pandemic. Food is always good.We’re particularly obsessed with the beet and goat cheese salad, but the pizza, sandwiches, and desserts have all always been amazing
