Contribuiți la feedbackI don't even know where to start with this review! My boyfriend's family is Dominican and typically stick to what they know when it comes to food. But when we visited this restaurant on our way back to New Jersey, every single one of them absolutely loved their meals. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and the staff was incredibly accommodating. The highlight of our visit was the server named Turner, who was incredibly sweet and genuine. It's clear he loves his job and the restaurant itself. The food was amazing and it was clear that it was made with care. The staff clearly takes pride in their work and the owner is from Louisiana. The prices were reasonable and the seafood was particularly good value. We spent around $120 for 2 appetizers, 6 entrees (including 3 seafood dishes) and a dessert. The only downside is that if you're not a fan of Cajun food, this may not be the place for you. But we did try the shrimp salad, which was a hit with everyone!
I was hoping for more flavor at the Cajun restaurant. I ordered the seafood pasta and my partner had the alligator basket. Neither dish had much spice, but they still tasted good. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming. I only took away one star because of the lack of spice, but I would definitely go back!
I originally went to the restaurant for beignets, but ended up ordering the po boys as well. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly.
We both got the Cajun queso, catfish Orleans (blackened), as well as gumbo, Mac n cheese, beignets Everything from start to finish was extraordinary it left us sweaty and tired lol everything was SO flavorful and if you like spice this is THE place for you, if I could give 10 stars I would, the prices are crazy low given the quality of food and portion sizes Entire staff was very welcoming and friendly our waitress was Molly and she was so sweet!
The best bourbon salmon I have ever had in my life. The beignets are amazing. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It was my first time there and I will definitely be back because there are more menu items to try. Make sure you go get a bite to eat....trust me you won't be disappointed!
