Bailey's Bistro - Athy

The food at this restaurant did not meet my expectations compared to previous visits. The beef was overly fatty and not tender, and the portion size was lacking. The kids' sausages were thin and burnt. While the food was edible, it was not worth the price. However, the staff were incredibly kind and provided excellent hospitality, receiving a 10/10 rating in that regard.

This weekend, we decided to indulge ourselves by ordering the Cupid gift box, which included Prosecco, a Voya candle, Butlers chocolates, and a rose. Along with that, we also ordered a starter and a main dish. The value for money was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. We were both extremely pleased, as we couldn't find a single flaw in our meal. The service for pickup was quick, and they adhered to Covid safety measures. By the time we arrived home, the food was still hot, and we enjoyed the starter before moving on to the main course, which was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again in the future.
