Mama Sid's embodies the classic charm of a bygone era—the food, ambiance, service, and prices all harken back to the wonderful 80s. It's a fantastic place to bring your kids, grandkids, or even the neighbor's children to experience a slice of living history and see how a great business operates. Just walking in and breathing in the rich aroma of 40 years of garlic and oregano is worth the visit alone. I've only tried the buffet, and it’s unbeatable. Thank you, Mama Sid's! Keep up the amazing work. After writing this review, I might just have to stop by for dinner!

I visited Mama Sid's for the first time today and was really impressed! The buffet price of $7.95 is unbeatable. Honestly, I didn't expect much for that price, but I was pleasantly surprised. The decor is a bit outdated, but I think it adds to the charm of this classic pizzeria. The pizza itself was quite delicious! With the buffet, you can request any type of pizza to be included. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming for a first-time visitor. I will definitely be returning!

While the service at Mama Sid's can be inconsistent, the pizza—especially the all-you-can-eat buffet—is reliably delicious. The restaurant has a somewhat outdated appearance (though it is the oldest pizzeria in Athens), yet it exudes a neighborhood charm that is hard to ignore.

I am posting an updated review. The owner Shaun reached out a while ago, expressed his apologies for the bad service, and offered to make it up to us on our next trip. We decided to give them another try and are very pleased to say it was an enjoyable meal. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, making sure we were happy with our dinner. I had the spaghetti, my partner had the pizza buffet. She absolutely loves their buffet as they stock it with items she likes most (Hawaiian), not just pepperoni or something easy. We will most definitely continue eating here again.

I am from New York so I'm very picky about my pizza and they are my favorite pizza place to go to. The couple who owns the restaurant are so nice and welcoming.
