Da Mario's Pizza - Athelstone

I highly recommend this pizza place! The staff is friendly, and the pizzas are fantastic. The dining area is great and suitable for families of all ages. They even welcome friends with babies. The pasta is also delicious! Make sure to book ahead for Christmas, as this place tends to fill up quickly.

We've been ordering pizza from Da Mario for over 20 years, and it's always been a consistently high-quality experience. Their traditional pizzas feature top-notch, simple ingredients that aren't too greasy. I use their app to place orders, and I’m always impressed with how quickly I can pick them up.

The food is delicious, but the wait time can be quite long. I’ve experienced them forgetting items on several occasions, and when I returned to point it out, their apologies were somewhat lacking. Additionally, their vegetarian options are limited. It would be fantastic to see dishes like eggplant parmesan or more veggie choices beyond just mushrooms on pizza or in pasta. Offering some plant-based meat alternatives would also be a great addition.

Have been waiting almost 2 hours for our meal. I understand they may be under the pump, however this is ridiculous, especially when you have children.

Once upon a time was a great pizza place. Way too inconsistent. Definitely not the mario way
