Union Vine - Atascadero

We were pleasantly surprised at receiving a delicious dinner at this hotel. The pasta dish was excellent as was the chicken Caesar salad. Service was prompt and pleasant.

The food was decent for a late night quicky. I wanted to try the crispy pork belly, but they were out by the time I went down to eat.The fish and chips were pretty good. The homemade chips and dip would have been delicious, but the chips were a bit too salty.Also, the sauce for the potato croquettes was not so tasty... I had to request ranch instead.

Tri -tip nachos, which were the special tonight, were great! There was a big party in tonight service was still top notch.

After a long day of driving, we opted to eat at the hotel restaurant. What a surprise to find a top-notch dining experience! The bartender/waitress suggested a delicious local beer on tap, which was delicious. My husband's Manhattan was perfectly made. We shared a wedge salad, which was great. My miso-battered fish with loads of perfect french fries was a win. We could have shared this dish.His chicken dish was also very good. The service here and at the desk was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. The dinner, combined with a lovely and well-priced room made for a lovely end of the day.
