The Great Escape - Atascadero

Most fun we've had in quite awhile locally!! The Great Escape is a great addition to our community! Great activity for all age groups! Bill and Tracy were very welcoming and friendly!! Highly recommend if you're looking for a dose of FUN!

We booked the room for my mother in laws birthday. We were going through the puzzle and my father in law did open something in the way the game wasn't intended and we understand that was our mistake. The box was very flimsy and he noticed he could shake it to get the contents out without the code to unlock it. It was his first escape room. But the manager barged in. Accusing us of forcing our way into one of the locks and immediately kicked us out and threatened to make us pay for any damages to something that wasn't even broken. I'm not upset that our game was ended early due to misuse of the room and lock. But the way the manager barged in, spoke to us, accused my father in law of purposefully breaking the game. It just was very off. He knew that it was both parents first escape room ever. And he still spoke to the group in a very unprofessional manner. Will not attend this room ever if that is how he speaks to his clients who made an honest mistake

One of the best escape room experiences I have done. Very innovative and great details. Good replay potential as well so solving it once doesn't mean you will succeed subsequent attempts.

I reserved an escape room at the Great Escape for my son's birthday, and the staff's level of friendliness, expertise, and customer care blew me away. They not only supported every request we made for the event but also offered additional original ideas to make the occasion special. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves during the game, and the group of parents (and toddler) were able to watch them solve the puzzles from the main room via broadcast. We were so happy to have such a welcoming and family-friendly environment to have a unique birthday experience. The parents are now ready to book their own time! Thank you all!

Great friendly staff. Fun VR games! We tried a bunch of different ones. Some were challenging and others were just fun exploring. Everyone was very helpful and nice. We'll try the escape room next time!
