Taverna Kyclades - Astoria

This place was perfect. We came to New Year's Eve for lunch / brunch, so I expected the service to be influenced. To my surprise, the service was phenomenal, although they were very busy. Our server, Gussy, was helpful and fast! The food was incredibly delicious. We have the seafood dish for two with mussels, scallops, shrimps, lobster tail and fish: it was a perfect meal.

Eat our first time at the new site. Everything was delicious. Your seafood is the best! The grilled octopus was very delicate and tasty. The portion size was also excellent compared to other places. The mixed dives were also very good. The grilled shrimps and lemon potatoes were also delicious. The staff was very nice and attentive.

This is a quintessential Greek restaurant that all New Yorkers have to visit. The first time I went to Kyclades was more than 10 years ago, and the restaurant hasn't changed since! Where you start: You do not take reservations, you should come and your name with a hostess, the usual waiting time is 30 min. Once you sit, you are served by a beautiful Greek man. The food usually comes quite fast, you may need to wait a little longer for the main course. I always order Greek salad here, a species or fish and a side of lemon potatoes. Last time we ordered filled mussels and they were just licking fingers well! Grilled octopus was juicy and delicious. What should I say about branzino that you don't better taste a mile radius! House wine is also good! At the end of your meal you get a big bonus a piece of Greek pumpkin cake on the house! What could be better than that to end a feast for your stomach?

Excellent Greek restaurant. Quality and fresh products with delicate Mediterranean spices. As appetizers the grilled octopus was excellent, the filled wine leaves were delicious, and the salads were fresh. The fish and meat for the most important courses were excellent, and the dessert was served on the house. Because of food quality and also because of the friendly service, it is highly recommended restaurant.

This restaurant is a gem in Astoria. Simply the best seafood you can have. The freshness quality of the food is just amazing. We tried there Bronzini Fish, Prawns crab cakes. The staff was amazing also as our waiter took time to explain all the menu to pick our dish. Simply if could i would give 10 STAR to this restaurant i would be coming back again again for sure !!
