Mo's - Astoria

I had the best clam chowder I've ever tasted, and the food on the plate was equally delicious. We enjoyed our meal by the window, and the view of the pier was absolutely stunning!

We absolutely love the clam chowder here! There’s nothing quite like the mussels and catfish. We also enjoyed a shrimp cocktail, which had plenty of small shrimp. I ordered the bowl of mush, and my partner had the gumbo with clams in broth. He thoroughly enjoyed it. If you’re looking for delicious food and great seafood, you must stop here. The staff is wonderful and provided us with great recommendations for nearby attractions. Plus, the prices are fantastic!

That was such a delightful experience! The ambiance is pleasant, and it's lovely to have the option to sit outside. The gift shop is charming, and the staff is very friendly. We ordered the seafood combination plate and a chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl. Unfortunately, the chowder was disappointing; I wouldn't recommend it as the broth wasn't very good. I would rate it quite low. However, the seafood combination plate was absolutely fantastic! The fried clams were fresh and delicious. Just a heads up, they are closed on some weekdays, so be mindful of that. Overall, it’s a great place!

Eating was really delicious. the tartar sauce was perfect, not too salty and not too sour/tart. berbatter halibut fish was not cooked dry. the cod was very dry, we were super disappointed that they cannot order the cable beer that seems so strange. all staff were friendly and nice.

Mo’s is always great with family. Heavenly clam chowder! They just opened in 2017 and this restaurant is most beautiful out all other Mo’s. Right in front of the ocean! Very romantic?
