Lokanta - Astoria

The mezze are incredible—delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. They come with wonderfully crispy and fluffy bread that’s perfect for dipping. The entrees are equally fantastic; you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

A restaurant that is increasing the level of the game for the mammoths of Astoria. This brand new restaurant with great interior design has healthy and flavorful dishes served by very friendly staff. I am so happy that the monopoly of the old but no more good restaurants is OVER!

Turkish Meatballs! Delicious! BYOB!! They don't serve alcohol! Beside that Great place and service! The owner was there making sure everything was right. And the price is fair! Definitely try it!

A trip to Astoria is absolutely worth it! Although we don't have a fleet license yet, they do allow BYO. Be sure to try the scallops and shrimp (available as specials off the menu)—these are two separate seafood dishes cooked in a cast iron pan with butter, garlic, lemon, and parsley. The lamb was tender and had a mild flavor, which was nice. We also tried the manti served with sour cream. While it wasn't my personal favorite, that's just a matter of taste since I don't particularly enjoy manti. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

What a delightful surprise! The Turkish dishes were beautifully presented and exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the well-lit, clean environment made for a pleasant dining experience. I just wish they offered lunch options. We opted for two appetizers instead of full meals, as the main dishes were more than we wanted (or were willing to pay). I would definitely return!
