Hondo's Brew And Cork - Astoria

We had a wonderful experience at this charming spot in Astoria. The bartender was very friendly, the selection of beer was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasantly uncrowded. We will definitely return if we find ourselves in Astoria again!

What a fantastic place! The beer was delicious; I tried Dexter's Pineapple Hefe. They also offered a nice variety of canned beers and some wine to take away.

The beer is decent but not outstanding. The bartender was quite grumpy and had a very stone-faced demeanor. I met someone who works at Astoria Brewing back in January, and I was hoping for a better experience...

We had skipped this place on our previous visits, thinking it was just a spot for beer. I couldn’t have been more mistaken! The quality of the beers is outstanding! I loved every one of them. Michelle was absolutely fantastic! You definitely need to stop here—be sure to order the full beer flight. It's the smallest microbrewery you can find, and that’s part of its charm. You never know what to expect, and that makes it all the more exciting. I can't recommend this place enough!

What an incredible experience! We arrived just as the restaurant was closing, and Hondo was about to lock up, but he graciously let us in. We grabbed a beer and had a great chat with him and Dexter. Hondo is a friendly guy, and the place has a really cool vibe with excellent beer. My mom is from Hondo, Texas, which made it even more special. Thanks, Mom!
