Secondly, the quality of the food was abysmal. I must say, this is some of the worst Italian food I’ve ever encountered. I ended up tossing half of it in the trash. I’ve enjoyed Amatriciana pasta many times before, but the sauce in this dish was bland and off-putting, akin to the cheapest canned tomato sauce you could find in a grocery store—almost reminiscent of Chef Boyardee. Furthermore, there was hardly any guanciale in the pasta at all. The Caesar salad was just a pile of cheap chopped lettuce, rather than full romaine or other greens; it felt like something you might get with a Taco Bell taco. The garlic bread was burnt and almost inedible. This experience has been a major letdown and a complete ripoff. I’ve noticed that there are other positive reviews, so perhaps I caught them on an off night, but I will not be returning to this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and choose another place for quality Italian food that won’t break the bank.

I really like Bottle Bar; I've been here several times, and the food is excellent with amazing drinks. This time, my friend and I stopped by just for drinks. We weren't sure what to order, but Valentina was incredibly friendly and offered us a drink menu. We tried a few options, and my favorite was the Made Ya Blush. Thank you, Valentina, for your attentive service! We'll definitely be back soon!

We visited Botte for our son's birthday dinner, joined by him since he lives nearby. Arriving at 5:30 PM on a Saturday without a reservation, we were promptly seated in the indoor dining area after a brief consultation. Our server was quick to attend to us, and it didn't take long for our drinks and pasta dishes to be ordered. Our meals were served surprisingly fast, and everything was absolutely delicious. While the portions aren't large, that was perfectly fine because the food was so flavorful and the prices reasonable. We also shared two desserts, both of which were delightful. With so many excellent restaurants in Astoria, Botte certainly stands out as one of the best.
