They offer a variety of options on their lunch and dinner menus, including vegan sushi rolls on sushi night. My go-to quick grab is the vegan tofu eggless salad sandwich. Although there are no dedicated vegan options on the breakfast menu, the veggie sausage can be made vegan by removing animal products and adding avocado for a delicious sandwich. I recently visited again while in town, but missed breakfast by 30 minutes. They have added more options since my last visit, so I ordered two items to snack on. The vegan tempeh BLTA sandwich was delicious, as was the vegan southwestern wrap. I have always been a fan of this charming little place. (Updated from previous review on 2021-05-24)

We stumbled upon their weekly sushi night. It was decent, but nothing particularly noteworthy. The restaurant lacks vegan options on both their regular and sushi menus. The two sushi platters I ordered were average. They weren't terrible, but they also didn't stand out. My main issue was the lack of vegetables in both dishes. If they included more veggies, I might have rated them higher. I was disappointed with the small portions of asparagus, which were supposed to be the highlight of the dish.

I have enjoyed everything I have tried at this restaurant. The Black Bean burger, Tempeh Reuben, and Chicken dishes are all delicious. Plus, Chris is an amazing bartender!

We were here for dinner. The menu had several vegan options. Had the tempeh taco which was delicious. We were told that they make it a point to have vegan options for all meals. The dining area was small but was set up well and had a nice atmosphere.The people staffing were friendly. This is also a breakfast and lunch option. Updated from previous review on 2022-01-17

Astoria Coffeehouse Bistro surprised us with our favorite meal while vacationing on the Oregon coast. Check their Facebook page for most recent menu options. But looks like they consistently have several vegan options. We enjoyed large sautéed tempeh tacos with slaw, salsa, avocado with sides of coconut purple rice and a black bean corn salad plus a giant vegan chocolate cupcake for dessert! Excellent flavors and portions, we wish we’d come here sooner! Will definitely be back.
