Pizzeria Il Pescatore 5 - ASTI

We discovered this restaurant by chance, while travelling to Rome by car from Switzerland. It was lunchtime and we had to stop somewhere. We were looking for another place, but we saw it first and decided to stop because it was on the way. We did not expect such a good experience, because the place is rather plain from the outside. Not the most chic place inside either, but the staff was very friendly and immediately accommodated us (we are a family of 3). We noticed local people were eating there, which is always a good sign. My husband and my daughter took the full menu (first course, second course, side dish, drink and coffee) and it was only 10 euros each! I had the menu primo (first course, side dish, drink and coffee) for 7 euros. We all had seafood spaghetti, my husband daughter also took fritto misto di pesce as a second course. The food was really good, well cooked and portions were abundant. We even took away a doggy bag , because we could not finished it all. Service was quick, friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this place, you can 't beat the price and quality!

I tried this restaurant just one time and my opinion is excellet! It is not a place in nouvelle cuisine style, the food is simple and quantities are really enormous. The rate quantity/quality for price is great. I tasted a saute of mussels and it was very good. For main course I choosed a big mix of fried fish... Shrimps, quids, some vegetables, scampi and anchovies all well fried and in giant quantity too. I suggest to order a single portion to eat in two... It is almost impossible to finish alone 2 courses. Absolutely recommended for good food with friends!

We are very impressed . Pizza was huge. The restaurant atmosphere is like home . The waiters are great , very helpful and friendly .

Luogo piacevole. porzioni abbondanti a prezzo accettabile. tavoli a volte poco spaziosi per grandi piatti. Buon cibo. servizio cortese ma incalciante se l'ordine di più piatti sono portati quasi simultaneamente con possibile raffreddamento.

Porzioni super abbondanti! pizza e pesce molto buono!
