Ca' D' Pinot - ASTI

For someone whose not too fussy about 5* fine dining this is a good place to come. They only have a set menu of 2 plates (pasta then meat for €10 and it's simple yet delicious. Don't speak English much or at all but it's good enough, the wine is delicious, the food is delicious and home-like, and nice atmosphere to say I don't speak Italian at all :

There was an understanding of what we wanted to eat and we ended up in the cold under a gazebo. In a little while he was warmed up and with the lady who served us we made clear. we did not want the fast menu but the complete one. said there brought us a great appetizer with taste of wet cauda. bis of first, bis of seconds, sweet and coffee. we tasted it right with the appetizer then we had a bottle of wine. Great!

We were guests for days, because we wanted to discover a part of Piedmont....We found a simplicity and friendlyness remarkable. . Barbara and her family... a family that with sacrifices and so much love care for a simple but amazing structure.. . For our gooses it was excellent! What about food? They also reveal all the love for tradition and simplicity. . . In short, for us, an informal environment, great food, excellent wine of own production.. . We will come back, because simplicity, tranquility and honesty are also our lifestyle thanks!
