Penny Lane Tavern - ASSISI

We have eaten here a few times and it's been okay. The last visit the scampi was more batter than fish with the peas a little bit lacking but giving benefit of the doubt we tried again today. We arrived at 11.59 and asked for a breakfast and were told no as breakfast is stopped at 12!!!!! Now, call me old fashioned but surely you can see my annoyance. We won't be going again.....however the cafe opposite on the corner was an unexpected bonus!!

If you want to try the best pizza then this is the best place,the location is very good. We tried many kinds of pizza and beers, big variety of special beers that you must try!!! The staff was very very friendly and always helpful with a big smile. I totally recommend it!!!!!

Ora chiariamo, non è una pizzeria! è un pub con ottime etichette di birra, antipasti, hamburger anche con carne di porcellana, patatine fritte e insalata. punto! poi c'è la pizza mistica come nel film con julia roberts, sicuramente i puritani si torceranno il naso perché non è la tipica campana pizza! la pasta e molto sottile e croccante, praticamente un cartone di bristol, fatto con diverse farine come la soia, ma la particolarità che l'ha fatta raffreddare da qui è sicuramente la vestizione. "Il bambino è in nero," Ob-la-dī ob-la-da," ieri. "Richiama alla famiglia sente-inganno di quel suono cantato da quattro ragazzi chiamati beatles. i puristi non mi dicono che non è così?!
