In a warm evening we get settled in the dehors. compared to the warm and well-furnished interior the outside remains a little too anonymous. the service is impeccable, professional, courteous and solert. but it is the kitchen the true plus. a kitchen made of original combinations. the pastry means in sepia sauce and black lemon are an intense concentrate of sea enhanced with lemon acid, risotto with almonds and scented wild sage as well as chromatically wonderful. in the second the san pietro with green chickpeas and sauce is balanced and decided but, personally, I loved the scorpion with pepper and wild black cherry in which the perfume of the latter melted gently with that of the fish. choice of wines of great level. portions in just quantity. undoubtedly currently the best restaurant in bergamo city. only note (in addition to giving greater brio and care to the external location) the account that appears a little too high euro per head for first and second) and more suitable to a two stars.
I enjoyed the historical location, the casual experience degotation of the chef padovano (apart from cooking pasta and rice, not well), the impeccable service. I did not appreciate the prices, unjustifiedly exaggerated (and I speak with knowledge of cause). what I paid for a glass of wine (extra compared to the bottle) and price of coffee (really mediocre) are good (maybe) for a tourist but my advice knows to tease and make the desire to return to a serious customer, ruining the rest of the experience.
